EXDOS/IS­DOS is a relatively complicated system and so it is the intention of this document to give a very brief overview of how the various parts of the system relate to each other, in order to help in understanding the rest of the documentation. More details of the various parts of the system can be found in the following documents:

• PER­2 - EXDOS DISKIO Specification.¹
• PER­3 - EXDOS Unit Handler Specification.¹
• PER­4 - DISKIO and UNITH Implementation Notes.¹
• PER­5 - EXDOS System Specification.²
• PER­16 - IS­DOS System Specification.¹

¹ - Can you supply any of these documents?, preferably in an online format of course, but paper is just fine too. If so please mail me!.

² - I have this one but unfortunately it needs to be typed in. This is a lot of work and frankly I don't have the time nor the skill to do this within a reasonable period of time. So either this will have to wait, or someone must volunteer (maybe using OCR). Volunteers? Anyone? Please mail me!.
